SerialATA(SATA)IPcore provides link layer to implement SATA channel to Altera FPGA and work on StratixIV GX, ArriaII GX and CycloneIV GX device. For StratixIV GX, it supports SATA-III (6Gbps) and matchs with SATA-III SSDs. It can connect with SSD/HDD without PHY chip.
You can develop your product in a short period because the IP core product includes the reference design with source code designed for Altera FPGA development kit.

SATA-IPcore supports both SATA-II and SATA-III. It works with Seagate,
IBM/Hitachi, WesternDigital and Samsung HDD, Intel,PhotoFast,OCZ and Micron SSD (Jul 2011).
RAID System with SATA-IPcore
By several SerialATA-IPcore implementation on FPGA, you can achieve RAID system with SerialATA HDD/SSD. This IPcore makes simple wiring on a board and reducing FPGA I/O pins. It is best solution for RAID system.
