Support SATA3

SerialATA(SATA)IPcore provides link layer to implement SATA channel to Altera FPGA and work on StratixIV GX, ArriaII GX and CycloneIV GX device. For StratixIV GX, it supports SATA-III (6Gbps) and matchs with SATA-III SSDs. It can connect with SSD/HDD without PHY chip. You can develop your product in a short period because the IP core product includes the reference design with source code designed for Altera FPGA development kit.

　 Design Gateway also provides SATA-IP for Xilinx Go to SATA-IP <for Xilinx>

Features of SerialATA-IPcore

• Compliant with the Serial ATA specification revision 3.0 (for StratixIV GX)
• Support both of SATA Host and SATA Device (Applicable to SATA Peripheral development)
• Simple transaction interface with Host processor or DMA Engine
• 32-bit internal data path
• 4KB FIFO implemented by BlockRAM in transmit and receive paths
• Support SATA-II/III (SATA-III for StratixIV GX. support ArriaII GZ soon)
• Low frequency operation
  - IP Core clock 75.0MHz and PHY clock 150MHz for SATA-II
  - IP Core clock 150.0MHz and PHY clock 300MHz for SATA-III (StratixIV GX)
  
• CONT primitive support for continue primitive suppression to reduce EMI
• Support 20bit width PHY
• Able to evaluate on StratixIV GX, ArriaII GX or CycloneIV GX FPGA development kit before purchasing the IPcore
