The pure hardware logic exFAT file systems
for very high speed data recording to NVMe/SATA SSD

Learn more about CPU-less exFAT file access

The exFAT file system controller eliminates the need for CPU and OS dependency during recording to NVMe/SATA SSD, while still being readable by the Host OS.
exFAT-IP is a hardware logic-based file system that aims to break the speed barrier of data recording with file systems. It eliminates CPU and OS dependency, highly optimizes resource utilization and performance, simplifies file management, enhances read/write speeds by FPGA-based system at the same level of raw data access, and ensures data compatibility with Host OS.
  • Suitable for very high-speed data reading application by FPGA and readable by Host OS
  • Support both NVMe and SATA SSD storage
  • Very high-speed up to 7GB/s with NVMe Gen4 IP Core
On-site Data Recorder
Using exFAT-IP simplifies the process of sharing data between different platforms such as recorder devices and PCs.

For instance, a vehicle data logger requires low resource consumption, compact size, and low power consumption. However, with NVMe-IP incorporating exFAT functionality, data is high-speedy recorded onto storage as files without CPU and OS.
Data recorded on in-car devices can be easily accessed, managed, and utilized on server systems without any special applications. exFAT-IP combined with NVMe-IP provides the best solution for implementing file system with conserving resources and ultra-fast transfers. It eliminates bottlenecks associated with software-based file system implementations by using all hardware logic without CPU and OS.
